
KitchenAid is a mass-premium brand that gives the power of the kitchen back to the consumer. KitchenAid coaches learners, while allowing the most experienced cooks fine tune their results.
Solution
KitchenAid was seeking a recipe app to accompany an all-in-one cooking appliance that can steam, knead, chop, and whip up delicious meals.

A simplified, step-by-step recipe process to guide frazzled chefs through the food journey was created to accomplish this need. Melanie Riley was the lead internal UI designer at Whirlpool Corporation in a process that involved an external agency, marketing stakeholders, and multiple internal design teams.
